A battery for a heavy-duty electric truck weighs about 8,000 pounds, and it requires two of them, so that’s 16,000 pounds. Think about how much energy would be required to convert a thousands of forklifts, farming tractors, tractor-trailer trucks, cranes, and other machinery for agricultural and factory use. No city can support that kind of power to create those batteries, much less procure the resources needed from the supply chain to manufacture them. The megawatt application required for just a dozen electric trucks is more than an entire city uses to function. The factory, in fact, that makes the trucks is usually only a two-megawatt facility.
The amount of megawatts needed to power a city depends on the city’s size. For example, New York City uses about 5,500 megawatts of power on average. It requires at least one megawatt of capacity to produce enough electricity to power 500 homes in a year. Wind and solar “renewable” energy sources produce less energy than a conventional generator.
In other words, to convert our entire nation to electric, wind, and solar power for transportation, building homes and buildings, factory power, and agricultural purposes, it would take centuries, if it’s even possible at all. This means that the Democrats and Liberals and globalists screaming for everyone to be ready to switch to “clean energy” and “zero-carbon” footprints is absurd, impossible, and a death wish. It’s like national suicide.
In the United States, there are over 300,000 factories, all powered by fossil fuel. At least 250 of those factories produce and supply iron and steel for buildings, homes, vehicles, machines, weapons, bridges, tunnels and more. There are over 1,000 factories in the USA that manufacture agricultural machinery and tractors.
These factories all run on fossil fuel. This industrial sector of factories uses a variety of fuel sources, including natural gas and petroleum products, like distillate, residual fuel oils, and hydrocarbon gas liquids (HGLs). Most construction equipment uses diesel fuel due to the requirements of efficiency, energy density, and suitability for heavy-duty workloads.
There are 125 cement manufacturing factories in the USA that all run on fossil fuels like coal, petroleum and gas. One large coal-fired power station produces 2,000 MW of electrical energy, and a wind turbine with over 30 blades can only produce 300 kW, so it would take about 7,000 wind turbines to run an entire factory consistently. It would take about 800 average-sized wind turbines to match the output from a 900-megawatt nuclear reactor. Guess what kind of fuel is needed to create these thousands and thousands of wind turbines needed for the Green New Deal scam?
If America tries to get rid of fossil-fuel-powered vehicles, tractors, machines and factories, it is literally impossible to replace them all with electric, solar and wind-powered machines. The entire economy, including farming, transportation for delivery of supplies and finished products, and the workforce needed to create everything would be decimated almost overnight. The entire power grid would collapse, and Americans would starve to death.
That’s why the whole green energy, zero-carbon footprint “mission” is one huge scam and Ponzi scheme invented and propagated by insidious billionaires who embezzle all the funds while trying to bankrupt our nation. Don’t fall for it.
